Hello, I’m Nisjet Lapi. I was born in Albania, a beautiful country in Europe. My parents lived through the hardships of communism—a regime that took everything from our family. My grandparents, once of royal blood and wealth, were stripped of all they had. They were left with only a cow, a sheep, and a small piece of land to survive. Growing up, I witnessed the lingering effects of these struggles on my family and community.

Throughout my life, I have been blessed to have a loving family yet I’ve faced my own challenges. I’ve often been sick with severe colds, undergone several surgeries, and navigated hardships that sometimes made it hard to keep going without breaking. I have always had a great love for people, but I often struggled to express it in a way that others, especially those from non-Eastern countries, could understand. My bold and direct nature didn’t always convey the kindness and compassion I felt. Over time, I’ve been learning how to communicate with others with more compassion and kindness.

Seeking new opportunities, I came to the United States to study Information Technology. It was tough. After paying all my fees and tuition that first month, I was left with about $500. To make ends meet, I took a job cleaning bathrooms. While cleaning is an honorable profession, I struggled mentally, often having nightmares every night. Just a week after starting that job, I received an offer to work as an SEO specialist—a blessing that came at just the right time. Since then, I’ve experienced ups and downs, beautiful moments and painful ones—including meaningful relationships and a harrowing ATV accident.

Life has been hard—a good challenge—but I’ve always had trust and faith in the Lord, whom I love the most. With Him by my side, it’s been a journey filled with growth and learning. I feel good about where I’ve come from and where I’m headed.

I’d like to share a sacred moment that profoundly changed my life—a moment I’ve held close to my heart until now. It was the night of March 17, 2013, the eve of my birthday. At the time, I was in Nottingham, England, serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I prepared to rest, I felt a profound sense of a divine presence near me.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, something extraordinary happened. Christ appeared to me. He approached and embraced me in a cross hug—one arm over my shoulder, the other beneath. In that embrace, I felt eternity—an indescribable place and love that transcended anything I’d ever known. Although I can’t recall His exact words, the essence of His message remains with me.

Afterward, Christ extended His hand with an open palm toward God the Father, who then hugged me in a similar manner. Once again, I was enveloped in that overwhelming sense of eternity and unconditional love. It has been the most beautiful moment in my life, transcending everything I have ever known!

This experience was deeply personal and sacred. For years, I wasn’t sure if or when I should share it. But now, I feel it’s the right moment—not to draw attention to myself, but to testify that God and Christ live, that they care deeply for each one of us, and that their love is real and ever-present.

My life’s purpose has become clear: to be a feeder of the good word, sharing messages of hope, love, and transformation with anyone who is seeking. I believe wholeheartedly that when we love God with all our might, mind, heart, and strength, everything else in our lives aligns as it should.

I’m dedicated to helping individuals become their best versions of themselves. With honesty, humor, love, and a genuine desire to connect, I strive to build trusting relationships grounded in deep emotional connections. I approach this journey not as someone who has all the answers, or as someone who is perfect, but as a fellow traveler who has experienced the profound impact of divine love.

In my everyday life, I find joy and balance in simple pleasures—playing soccer with my friends, playing a game of chess, finding peace through meditation, and enjoying the occasional fun of pickleball. These passions keep me grounded and continually teach me about teamwork, strategy, mindfulness, and joy.
